Liberty Steakhouse & Brewery is a great place to eat in High Point. I've been here twice now on business and was impressed both times. The steaks are awesome and even come out the way you asked for them to be cooked which is a lot more than most other restaurants can claim and they also have a great selection of beer. Fast service and a courteous staff only serve to heighten the experience.
While the food is on the pricey side, it was delicious. The menu has a Cajun flare to it which is much appreciated considering that would be the last thing you would expect to see in the Triad area. Good beers on tap as well. Service is very good, even new wait staff seems to do a good job. Portions are quite large. Better then outback, longhorn, and right below Ruth's Chris Steakhouse.
Sammy G's is a great option for lunches, dinners & celebrating special occasions. Many of our customer have gone there and have yet to be disappointed. Great chef, management & service. This place definitely gets 5 stars from us. Sammy G's is fairly upscale for High Point. I'm not saying that you will be uncomfortable wearing jeans to dinner, but you also wouldn't be out of place in a tie.
First of all, the outside is very pretty and inviting, landscaped well and there is a small section to eat outdoors. Some very nice Tex-Mex choices here, nothing too exotic but it's all done very well, and fresh tasting. The interior is nicely decorated, bright, clean, and roomy. The service was nice, friendly, efficient, and as attentive as the customers required. Try the guacamole appetizer they prepare in front of you.
